Admission

 

Children must be at least 2 years at the time of entry.

Hours

 

The Preschool is open from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm

 

Sessions: Full Day (8.30 am - 4.30 pm)

                 Half Day AM (8.30 am -12.30 pm)

                 Half Day PM (12.30 pm - 4.30 pm)

 

In order for children to fully benefit from our enhanced educational experience, they are expected to attend five full days each week, although consideration will be given to attending 4 full days. Consideration will also be given to children wishing to attend half day sessions (morning or afternoon) with a minimum of 5 half day sessions.

Notice

 

One term's notice in writing must be given when withdrawing a child from the Nursery Pre School. Fees in lieu of notice will be payable if notice is not received.

 

Clothing

 

Uniform is compulsory and can be purchased from the School.

 

 

Lunch Times

 

 

Lunch time at Papillon is an important part of your child's day. The children

 

sit at tables with their teacher who eats with them. This creates a calm and relaxed environment where the children can observe and put into practice good table manners and learn the social skills expected when eating together. The children are encouraged to eat nicely and become aware of the variety of foods that their friends and their teacher are eating. At Papillon, we encourage the children to bring healthy lunches, either cold or kept warm in insulated containers. The children enjoy eating together and grow in confidence as they gain these valuable life skills.
