The transition from toddler to child is a special period in one's life.
A stage in which children begin to acquire important environmental, social and learning skills and show signs of individual talents and behavior.
Our aims therefore are:

Our setting operates in Milhillians Sports Club (St. Marys). We are fortunate to have the use of a full sized rugby pitch which enables us to provide free flow play throughout the year.
We have our own generous sized car park which is situated adjacent to the nursery.
We are conveniently situated within walking distance of Headstone Lane over ground station and bus stops.
We overlook a farm which we visit from time to time. When the cows are grazing, the children can see them from their play area. Down the lane from the school is a garden centre which we visit occasionally.
We also have access during term time to the recreation ground belonging to the RCT hall.
Our hall has recently been refurbished on an open plan layout. We have four fully qualified keyworkers, including two Montessori teachers who are each responsible for a small group of children, which enables them to work with each child on a one to one basis and at their own individual levels.

Our setting operates from a converted detached house in Hatch End. We have six classrooms spread over two floors.
We are fortunate to have an enclosed and secure acre of land for our outdoor play area where the children have a variety of outdoor activities.
We are situated within walking distance of Hatch End over ground station and local bus stops. There are convenient car parking facilities outside the school and at the art centre.
Our school is located near to the library, the community orchard and the Harrow Arts Centre. We visit the library and orchard at least once each term and the Art Centre yearly.
We have six fully qualified key workers (including three Montessori teachers) who are each responsible for a small group of children. This enables them to work with each child on a one to one basis and at their own individual levels.
Out staff are all either Montessori qualified or hold a NVQ level 3 qualification. We regularly attend training sessions to keep our practice current and have all undergone special needs training. Staff turnover is very low, some staff having been at Papillon since 1997 and many others since 2004.
